Acts 3:6 “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk”.
The lame man at the Beautiful Gate had an expectation of Peter and John (verse 5). There was, however, a greater gift than what he expected, he received what he needed, not what he wanted.
Your expectations might not match God’s plan for you, but you can be sure He has the best in His mind for you. Let Him guide you.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always set my expectations upon you in Jesus name, amen.
