Colossians 3:2 “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth”.
It is normal for human to anticipate, desire and have expectations. But the Bible admonishes believers to rather have expectations for things above.
Things on earth will perish, things above will endure, there is a place Christ has prepared for you with His Father, may you make heaven.
Talk to God: Father, help me to set my expectations on things above in Jesus name, amen.
