Jonah 1:5 “Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep”.
In the face of tumultuous wind, sailors often incur losses by throwing belongings in the sea to lighten the ship. This is contrary to the concept of abundance.
God promised abundance to His children, but it is only possible when you do not have the wrong goods in your cargo. Make no room for sin.
Talk to God: Father, anything I carry that might bring me losses, take them away from me in Jesus name, amen.
