Mark 6:31 “And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat”.
A retreat is a time of withdrawal from a war or activity. Christ often calls His disciples to secluded places so they can retreat and recharge for the task ahead.
As a disciple of Christ, there will be times for retreat. Before every new beginning there would be an end.
Talk to God: Father, help me to understand the need and time for retreat in Jesus name, amen.
