1 Kings 19:7 “And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee”.
The purpose of retreat is not to flee from the battlefield, it is to prepare for greater exploits. Those who go far with God respect the place of retreat and allow Him brood over them.
You are never enough, but God is all sufficient, so you can tap into His Almightiness in the place of retreat.
Talk to God: Father, help me not to miss the place of retreat in my walk with you in Jesus name, amen.
