Judges 6:15 “And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”
Gideon was an example of the heroes of faith (Heb. 11:32), he, like the others, attained this through God’s enablement. Gideon had a reluctant obedience to God’s call, He doubted he was fit for the purpose.
We should learn to respond to God’s commands without doubt, and trust that He will support our mission. He is able.
