Joel 2:23a “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately…”
The former rain signifies preparation, where God intentionally breaks tough, parched ground so they are ready for fruitfulness.
When the former rains come, God is getting you ready for the latter rain. It is also an invitation to walk closer with Him and expand your store for abundance.
