2 Chronicles 6:26 “When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;”
Today’s text shows that the major root cause of dryness is sin. But it also hints at the solution, prayer.
One of the greatest harms sin does is that it gives the devil a chance to operate by making you an enemy of God. Abstain from all appearance of evil (I Thess 5:22).
Talk to God: Father, help me to abstain from all appearance of evil.
