Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”.
The mind is a very important tool, useful to God for exploits and also the devil, if left unchecked.
Most visions are first sown as a seed in the mind, then the conceived vision is brought to life through actions. Ask God to liberate your mind.
