Matthew 22:39 “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”.
Christ summarized all the commandments into two, verse 40 confirms that these anchor all the laws. One way to validate the our desire is if it expresses love to God and others.
You cannot desire in love and sin. The love of God brings perfection; let love anchor your desires and you will please God.
