Luke 9:62 “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God”.
Several new resolutions die along the way, some, in a matter of days. In today’s text, Christ charges us that, there is danger in setting out, and then looking back.
If you have decided to walk with God this new year, let nothing stand in your way. Setting out to sea means leaving behind the caution and trusting God all through that journey. Your strength is not enough, but God is able to carry you.
Talk to God: God, I leave behind caution, I trust you all the way, help me in Jesus name, amen.
