Amos 6:1 “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!”
God promises divine settlement for His children. However, He expects us to totally trust in Him, and rest on His promises rather than our own strength.
As dews do not settle on hot surfaces, the promise of settlement is reserved for those who obey, and not choose to rest while they are meant to seek God. If you are willing and obedient, His good plans for you will come to pass.
Talk to God: Father, I choose to obey you always, help me to rest in your promises.
