Hebrews 1:9 “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows”.
One of the things that makes a child the ‘father’s favourite’ is if he takes after the father. Our righteous Father is always pleased with children that take after Him in righteousness.
Christ is the ultimate example of how righteousness leads to elevation. If you want God to keep elevating you, you must be found in His righteousness.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always stand in your righteousness in Jesus name, amen.
